NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Sunday, 27 September 2026 at 9.30 am in the club rooms.

Nominations are hereby called for the following positions on the Management Committee:

As per our Constitution that was adopted on the 20 February 2022 and as amended on 11 February 2024,

13. © On years ending in an even number the positions of Chairperson, Treasurer and Manager Greens and Surrounds shall be elected for a period of two years. On years ending in an odd number the positions of Deputy Chairperson, Secretary and Manager Clubhouse Services shall be elected for a period of two years. All other positions will be elected for a period of one year. Every office bearer shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Club and shall hold office from the conclusion of the election until the conclusion of the next election for that position, but all office bearers shall be eligible for re-election.

Nominees, proposers, and seconders must all be financial members of Urangan Bowls Club Inc.

Nomination forms are available from the Secretaiy of the Management Committee and in the Breezeway. Nominations for all positions shall be in writing and signed by the Nominee, their proposer and seconder and shall be lodged with the Secretary by 5.00 pm, Saturday 19 September 2026.

If no nominations are received for any position by that date, nominations to fill such positions will be called for from the floor at the Annual General Meeting.

Expressions of interest are also sought for appointment to the following positions: Asst. Treasurer, Asst. Secreta1y and Asst. Greens & Surrounds & Building maintenance.

Also, any Notices of Motions under Rule 30 shall be in writing and signed by the proposer and seconder and shall be lodged with the Secretary by 5.00 pm, Saturday, 19 September 2026.
